Ans. The batch strength of IIM Calcutta MBA Program is subject to increase year on year as per the institute requirements. The present 2021 batch at the campus comprises about 280 in MBA. Added to this, There exist about 210 students in PGDM, 10-15 in FPM.

Ans. If you have scored a CGPA of 6.00 out of 9.00 and/or equivalent and above in your MBA, you need not have to appear in CAT entrance. You are eligible to apply directly through an online process. As such, it is a different program in comparison to the MBA general course.

Ans. Yes, you are eligible for the course. GMAT/ GRE score is not mandatory for taking admission in the course. If you have the score, it will be treated as a part of your academic record. However, the institute selects candidates only on the basis of aptitude tests at the institute level.

Ans. You do not have to take the CAT if you have secured a CGPA of 6 out of 9 or equivalent. You can directly apply if you meet the requirements otherwise you will have to give CAT again. 

Ans. GMAT scores in IIMC are valid for two years from the date of taking the test. GMAT can be taken  8 times in your life without any age limit. Meanwhile, CAT scores are only valid for 1 year and a minimum of 50% is required to be eligible for the test.
