Admission

FLAME UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS:

FLAME University’s admission process is conducted completely online. Applicants will be able to attend the admission process from home.  The goal of FLAME’s assessment process is to select best-performing and well-rounded applicants who can contribute and enhance the learning experience at FLAME University. The selection process is holistic in that it selects students on the basis of multiple parameters. The university believes in giving all the candidates a fair chance of getting selected for its various programs. 

The admission process is conducted in five distinct cycles. The cycles for admissions 2021 intake are as follows:

Aspirants who wish to apply in any of the cycles have to complete the following FLAME University Pune Admission Process:

  • FLAME University has an online application process. Candidates can access the application form at https://apply.flame.edu.in. Candidates are required to provide information such as their national level tests scores, personal contact details, educational qualifications, achievements / extracurricular activities, statement of purpose, etc.
  • Candidates may apply to FLAME University even if they do not have the national level test scores available at the time of application, provided they are otherwise eligible. However, the final decision on their application shall be taken only after they submit the scorecard, before the specified date.
  • Applying with at least one national level entrance test score (CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ MH-CET) is a mandatory requirement for the MBA and MBA (Communications Management) programs offered by FLAME University. However, if the candidate feels that the national entrance exam score does not fully reflect his/her academic credentials or potential, he/she may opt for PG FEAT. PG FEAT is optional and can be taken as an additional parameter by the applicants to strengthen their chances of selection.

FLAME UNIVERSITY FEE*

MBA (For Class of 2023):

Tuition Fee – INR 595000/- per annum

Boarding and Lodging Fee – INR 165000/- per annum

Other Fee – INR 50000/- per annum

Total Fee – INR 810000/- per annum

MBA Communications Management (For Class of 2023):

Tuition Fee – INR 535000/- per annum

Boarding and Lodging Fee – INR 165000/- per annum

Other Fee – INR 50000/- per annum

Total Fee – INR 750000/- per annum

*Total Fee for Class of 2023 may slightly vary. 

FLAME UNIVERSITY ELIGIBILITY / SELECTION PROCESS

MBA / MBA (Communications Management) Minimum Eligibility:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university / institution recognized by the UGC or equivalent bodies with a minimum score of 50% in aggregate or an equivalent grade (CGPA/ CPI/ etc.). 
  • Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree program can also apply, provided they can produce the final year degree certificate / mark sheet before 31st August 2021. Admission of such a candidate shall be strictly provisional till s/he submits a valid proof of passing the Bachelor’s degree examination with required percentage of marks before the prescribed last date, failing which the admission shall automatically stand withdrawn without any further notice.
  • Test scores in any of the following national level tests conducted in the current year – CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MH-CET / MAT.

The selection process of the B-School is based on the overall profile of the candidates, which includes the following parameters:

  • National Level Entrance Test Scores [CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MH-CET] – (Mandatory)
  • Essay
  • Personal Interview (PI) *
  • Past Academic Record
  • Extracurricular activities/ achievements
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Personality Profiling

* During the Personal Interview (PI), students will also have to undergo a 60-second video recording about their views on, ‘Why do you want to join FLAME University?’ Applicants can also opt for PG FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test [FEAT] for the selection process, in an attempt to improve their overall application profile.
