IIM Kozhikode Campus
Located nearby to the city of Calicut, Kerala, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode boasts a very infrastructurally solid campus area. The campus is ideally located with all the modern metropolitan features nearby.
The entire IIM Kozhikode campus area is covered by a wireless internet network and has all the facilities that are expected from an IIM. Apart from this campus, there is also an IIM Kozhikode Kochi campus, which was established in 2012 as a satellite campus of the institution.
Classrooms
All the classrooms at IIM-K are equipped with the modern educational tools needed to ensure a Technology Enhanced Learning experience.
The classrooms are kitted out with motorised screens, OHPs, computers, multimedia projectors along with wireless presenters and other audio-visual utensils to ensure that the students’ education is as interactive as it can be.
Auditoriums
There are two auditoriums with a seating capacity of between 250 and 400 people. These halls are used for conducting conferences, culture programmes, seminars, students’ events and other events organised by the institute.
IIM Kozhikode Hostels
IIM-K has 13 well-designed hostels capable of housing over 800 students. The academic block and all other facilities are within walking distance of the hostel. The students are offered rooms on a single or double occupancy basis. Facilities such as TVs, heated water and washing machines are provided in every hostel.
Recreation
Various facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports are available for the students’ use. Each and every hostel has facilities for a variety of indoor games such as table tennis, chess, carrom etc.
Additionally, the institute provides ample space for outdoor sports like football, cricket badminton and basketball. The immaculate fields ensure that space is not an issue for the students to play.
Eating Stops
The students of IIM-K have exclusive access to mess facilities. Aside from the three daily meals, beverages and snacks are also offered to the students via the mess. The campus also houses a restaurant which serves the alternative dietary habits of the diverse student body.
