IIM Kozhikode – Indian Institute of Management Results and Cutoffs

IIM Kozhikode MBA Admission 2022 are over now, the college is yet to release the final list of selected candidates. Candidates having their names on the shortlist can register for admission to IIM Kozhikode. Final admission will be based on the CAT scores and personal interview.

The minimum overall and sectional cutoff required for admission to IIMK will remian 85 percentile and 75 percentile respectively for General category candidates.  Candidates with a valid CAT score i.e more than 85 Percentile in overall which is reduced from 90 percentile and sectional 75 percentile reduce from 80 percentile are selected for the Personal Interview (PI) round.

IIM Kozhikode will award 45% weightage to CAT 2021 score which was 75% in last year and 50% weightage to Academics & Diversity in shortlisting the candidates for PGP admission 2022 final selection round. Also IIM Kozhikode will not be conducting WAT (Written Aptitude Test) for the 2022-2024 batch. The shortlisting process and admissions will be based on CAT scores and Personal Interview.

IIM Kozhikode CAT Cutoff 2022 for MBA(PGP)

For the academic year (2022-24) MBA admissions, the qualifying CAT cutoff has remained the same as that of the previous year i.e 85 percentile. However, the minimum score required in graduate level has been 60% from the previous bar of 50%. For CA/ICWA/CS qualifiers, the minimum marks required remained 50%.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Selection Criteria (2022-24):

Admission to the PGP program at IIM Kozhikode will be based on the CAT scores of the candidates. IIMK has a 3 stage admission Process. Below is the Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Registration of Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will receive an email for online registration. Only the registered candidates will be considered for the 2nd Stage of admission. The next stage will be for Written Test and Personal Interview conducted by IIM K.

• Stage 2: Personal Interview:

Candidates falling in the CAT Cutoff of 85 percentile are required to register for Personal Interview. Candidates participating in the PI round of IIM Kozhikode will be evaluated on the basis of their CAT Score, past academic records , attitude, personality, communication skills and work experience.

Stage-2: Shortlisting Criteria

After evaluation, a resume score will be prepared and finally a category wise merit list will be prepared.

• Stage 3: Final Selection

After the Written Test and Personal Interview for admission, the final merit list will be prepared by IIMK will be based on the basis of CAT Score, performance in Personal Interview and Resume Score. Lastly, qualifying candidates will receive the admission offers from IIM Kozhikode via Email.Final Score Computation:

IIM K CAT Cut off PGP- Finance 

Candidates who wish to seek admission in the PGP-Finance program at IIM K must possess a graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent and have a valid score in CAT 2021/GRE/GMAT test which took place in 2021.

IIM Kozhikode MBA Selection Process:

The admission to the PGP-F program at IIM Kozhikode is a three tiered process. The details of the stages are as follows :

Stage 1 

All the candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria have to register for the PGP-F program online. Only those candidates who have successfully completed the registering process will be eligible for stage 2 and stage 3. 

Stage 2 

In Stage 2, a shortlist of candidates in each reservation category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on the performance in aptitude test (CAT/GMAT/GRE), academic performance, work experience, suitability score and gender diversity score.

Stage 3 

At last the shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for a personal interview after the conclusion of which a PI merit list will be prepared of the shortlisted candidates. 

IIM Kozhikode PGP in Liberal Studies & Management Cut off 

In order to apply for the PGP Program in Liberal Studies and Management at IIM K the candidate must have a graduate or a postgraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent and must possess a valid CAT/GRE/GMAT score for the year 2021. 

Minimum eligibility score. 

The selection process for the program is similar to the PGP program and comprises 3 stages : 

•  Stage 1: comprises of registering for the program
• Stage 2: a shortlist of candidates in each reservation category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on the performance in aptitude test (CAT/GMAT/GRE), academic performance, work experience, academic diversity score and gender diversity score.
• Stage 3: the shortlisted candidates are called for the PI round after which the merit list for the shortlisted students for the program is prepared.
