Admission to IIT Delhi

Admissions to IIT Delhi 2022 are now open for UG, PG, and Research programs. Admissions to BTech programs at IIT Delhi will be made through the JEE Advanced exam. The exam has been scheduled for August 28 by the conducting authority. The MBA/MBA (Telecom) PI results have been published on joaps.iitd.ac.in. Candidates who participated in the interview round can check their status by entering their application number, date of birth, and registered mobile number. The application period for the MTech and MS (Research) programs is open until May 2. CEP at IIT Delhi is also accepting applications for its EMPED and advanced certification programs. Eligible candidates may apply for the position until May 5.

Admission to IIT Delhi 2022 is based on national-level entrance scores. The institute offers 85 courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and research levels. The institute is now shortlisting candidates for the interview rounds, which will begin on May 2. The shortlist will be announced in the fourth week of April 2022.

Admission to IIT Delhi for B.Tech 2022

IIT Delhi offers a four-year B.Tech degree program in 12 specializations, including Biochemical Engineering and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power), Electrical Engineering (Power & Automation), Mathematics & Computing, Mechanical Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Engineering Physics, Textile Engineering, and Energy Engineering.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria at IIT Delhi

  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 exams.
  • Candidates must have taken PCM subjects in their 10+21 exam.
  • SC/ST candidates receive a 5% discount.

Criteria for IIT Delhi B.Tech Selection

  • JoSAA is in charge of the counseling process for IIT Delhi B.Tech seats.
  • Candidates must take the JEE Advanced entrance exam.
  • Following the release of the JEE exam results, the JoSAA will announce the opening and closing ranks for each specialization.
  • IIT Delhi confirms admission to interested candidates based on the minimum rank cut-off.

How to Apply for B.Tech at IIT Delhi?

  • Register for the JEE entrance examination
  • Fill out the form with the necessary information.
  • Document upload
  • Pay the application fee and confirm the application form.
  • Following the announcement of the results, confirm IIT Delhi as your preferred institute.
  • Candidates who achieve the required cut off rank can be confirmed for admission to IIT Delhi.

Documents required for JEE registration include:

  • a passport-sized photo with the date and signature
  • To upload, a scanned copy of your signature
  • The birthdate (as mentioned on the class 10 certificate)

IIT Delhi BDes Admission 2022 IIT Delhi has launched a four-year BDes program beginning in the academic year 2022-23. The program has a maximum capacity of 20 participants. Only UCEED 2022 qualified candidates will be admitted to the IIT Delhi BDes program. The application process for the program is only available on the official website of the UCEED 2022 exam. Interested candidates can apply for IIT Delhi BDes Admissions 2022-23 through the common application portal. The basic admission requirements for the IIT Delhi BDes program are listed below.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT Delhi BDes

Candidates for admission to the IIT Delhi BDes program must have completed their 10+2 level board examination in science or commerce.

They must have passed all subjects with a minimum of 60% in their 10+2 examination from any recognized board of education.

Selection Criteria for IIT Delhi BDes

The UCEED 2022 scores are used to determine admission to the IIT Delhi BDes program. The applicant must have received a valid rank in the UCEED 2022 entrance exam. The following are the round one cutoff ranks for admission:

IIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi offers admission to M.Tech programs in 38 specialisations through the GATE entrance exam, which is followed by counselling.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria at IIT Delhi

Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (Engineering)/M.Sc./M.C.A./MBBS/M.Pharm./B.Pharm. with a minimum of 60% or an equivalent CGPA.

Candidates must pass the qualifying examination with relevant specialisation.

Note: SC/ST candidates receive a 5% discount.

IIT Delhi M.Tech and Integrated M.Tech Admission Criteria: Admission will be granted based on the candidate’s GATE performance.

Graduates of IIT with a minimum CGPA of 8.00 are exempt from the GATE exam score requirement.

COAP will allocate seats for IIT Delhi’s M.Tech program.

IIT graduates will be chosen based on their performance in the personal interview.

How to Apply for M.Tech and Integrated M.Tech Admission at IIT Delhi?

IIT Delhi has launched a new two-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) program at the postgraduate level. The program emphasizes Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI), as well as Development. The institute conducts a written test or an interview to determine admission to the program.

MPP Eligibility Criteria at IIT Delhi

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for admission to the IIT Delhi MPP program:

MPP Selection Criteria at IIT Delhi

The MPP program at IIT Delhi is selected in two stages. Candidates will be shortlisted in the first step based on their academic performance or qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test or an interview conducted by the institute in the second stage. The candidates’ final selection will be based on their performance in the institute’s written test or interview.

MPP Application Process at IIT Delhi

Step 1: Candidates go to the official admission site of IIT Delhi to fill out the application form.

Step 2: Provide a valid email address as well as your name as it will appear on your MPP diploma.

Step 3- Once you’ve completed the registration process, log in to the portal with the User ID and Password you received via email.

Step 4- After logging in, navigate to the left-hand side and click the “Apply Now” button.

Step 5- Enter all of the required information, then click “Save and Next” to proceed to the next page.

Step 6- On this page, select the program and department to which you are applying.

Step 7: To proceed to the second page, click Save and Continue.

Step 8: Provide information about your qualifying test, qualifying degree, and previous education.

Step 9: Fill in the blanks with your previous education information and click Save and Next.

Step ten: Enter the experience year. Put 0 Years, 0 Month, and 0 Days if you have no experience (part-time or sponsored candidate must provide experience details).

Step 11: Include a photo of yourself as well as any other relevant documents. Then, once more, click Save and Next. Accept the Declaration and then click the bottom Submit button.

Step 12: Pay with a credit card, debit card, or net banking account.

IIT Delhi Ph.D Admission 2022

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi offers Ph.D programmes for which admission is based on GATEand , and NET entrance test scores, which are then followed by an interview.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria at IIT Delhi

Candidates must hold an M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc/MBA degree with a minimum of 60% marks.

Alternatively, a B.E/B.Tech with a minimum of 70% in the relevant discipline.

GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/ICAR/DST INSPIRE fellowships are required.

IIT Delhi Ph.D Selection Criteria
