IIT Ropar – Indian Institute of Technology Placements

On December 1, 2020, the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, also known as IIT Ropar, launched its 2020-21 placement drive, and within a week, the institute managed to place 100 of its students in various industries.

The institute is holding a placement drive for the class of 2022, with the highest CTC offered being around INR 50 LPA.

During the 2021 placement drive, IIT Ropar successfully achieved 100 percent placements for the UG and PG batches.

Students landed lucrative positions at companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Samsung Engineering, Texas Instruments, and Ericsson.

During the 2021 placement drive, the highest CTC was INR 18 LPA, while the median salary was INR 12 LPA.

Google, Amazon, Ericsson, Deloitte, and Microsoft were among the major recruiters who took part in the placement drive.

IIT Ropar Placements 2020 Report

During the 2020 placement drive, over 113 students registered for placements, with 96 students successfully placed in various industries. The institute had a placement rate of 84.96 percent.

The average CTC was INR 15.85 LPA, while the median CTC was INR 12.4 LPA.

Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Zomato, Arista Networks, Code Nation, Linux World Informatics, NASDAQ, Linkbal Japan, National Chiao Tung University Taiwan, Tesco, Yokogawa Electric Corporation Japan, and other top recruiters took part in the 2020 placement drive.
