SRM University Scholarships
SRM Institute of Engineering and Technology offers a range of SRM scholarship to laudable students with recorded achievements. The scholarships in SRM for B.Tech may appear in the form of tution fee waivers, teacher and research assistance as well as concessions on hostel fees and the cost of books.
An enormous number of students have benefitted from these schemes. In the academic year, 2017-18, about 2,650 students were awarded one form of scholarship or another. The total amount of the various scholarships counted as high as INR 28.9 crores.
SRM Chennai attempts to encourage the exemplary talent displayed by their students by providing a range of scholarships which recognises excellence in academic, sporting and other notable achievements. The amount provided by these scholarships can change from time to time.
