Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur popularly known as XLRI Jamshedpur is amongst the top Business schools in India. The institute has maintained an excellent placement track record. It offers a high RoI where the average placement package stands above INR. 24 LPA, while the general cost for its PGDM program stands at around INR. 11 LPA.
XLRI has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2022 and has achieved 100% placements where 99 recruiters participated including 23 new recruiters. The Highest CTC stood at INR 60+ LPA which as offered by the BFSI Sector whereas the Average CTC stood at INR 30.73 LPA and the Median CTC stood at INR 29 LPA. Around 40.28% students received Pre-Placement Offers.
The Institute has released its placement report for the batch 2019-21 and the Highest CTC stood at INR 50 LPA whereas the Average CTC stood at INR 25.08 LPA and the Median CTC stood at INR 23 LPA. A total of 108 recruiters participated in the placement drive, out of which 23 were first time recruiters and 33.33% students received pre-placement offers.
The institute has also concluded its summer internship placement drive for the batch of 2021-23 and 127 offers were offered in the consulting cohort and the Highest Stipend stood at INR 6.8 Lakhs for two months whereas the Average stipend stood at INR 1.28 Lakhs.

XLRI Jamshedpur has concluded its 2022 placement drive with 100% placement record. A total of 99 including 23 new recruiters participated in the placement drive. Around 40.28% students were offered PPOs. The highest CTC stood at INR 60 LPA whereas the average and median CTC stood at INR 30.73 LPA and INR 29 LPA respectively.
The insitute has successfully achieved 100% placements for the outgoing batch of 2019-21 of its flagship programmes (PGDM Human Resource Management and PGDM Business Management) with all 358 candidates securing offers through the final recruitment process in 2 days.
The 2019-21 placement process witnessed the participation of 108 recruiters which offered 370 domestic and 108 international offers . The placement season also observed the participation of 23 new recruiters. The PSUs like Power Finance Corporation and GAIL have participated in the placement drive.
The highest offered was INR 50 LPA and the average CTC stood at INR 25.08 LPA and the median CTC stood at INR 23 LPA whereas the top 10% and 25% students were offered the average CTC of INR 37.49 LPA and INR 34.80 LPA respectively.
Some of the top recruiters were- The Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, Microsoft, Amazon, P&G, Aditya Birla Group, ITC, Avendus Capital, Standard Chartered, Capgemini ELITE, Hindustan Unilever, and others. New recruiters included companies such as Arga Investment Management, Myntra, Power Finance Corporation, Thoucentric Consulting, Welspun, Tolaram Group, M H Alshaya, JCB, TCS, Vedanta amongst others.

The institute has completes its summer internship placement drive for the batch 2021-23, and the largest ever batch of 470 students participated in the placement drive.
During the summer internship placements of 2023, the highest stipend stood at INR 6.8 Lakhs for 2 months which was offered by the BFSI Sector and the average stipend increased by 5% Y-O-Y to INR 1.28 Lakhs whereas the median stipend stood at INR 1.27 Lakhs and top 10% and 25% students were offered the stipend of INR 1.82 Lakhs and INR 1.63 Lakhs respectively.
The top segment roles were offered from the Consulting, Sales and Marketing domains and some of the top recruiters like Coca Cola, Asian Paints, P&G, ITC and many others participated in the summer internship placement drive of 2023.
