JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to take the JEE Advanced 2022 exam must meet the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria established by the exam administering authority. Candidates will be permitted to take the exam twice in the same year. 

Age

Those who want to take the JEE Advanced 2022 exam must have been born on or after October 1, 1994. Candidates from the ST, SC, and PWD categories would be given a 5-year age relaxation.

Educational qualification:

During the year 2022, candidates must have passed the 10+2 standard qualifying examination or an equivalent examination. Candidates who will take the qualifying examination in 2022 are also eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam.

The candidates must not have enrolled in any IIT, regardless of whether they have completed the course or simply accepted the seat by reporting to the facility. Candidates who had previously enrolled in one of the IITs but later cancelled their enrollment will also be ineligible to sit for the exam.
