I just received the schweser notes from Laxmi xerox through courier. Just wanted to know if there are 5 books in total other than the practice exams before I pay him. Hope the ones who have already got it can help.

I m planning to do my LLB for 3 years now from faculty of law,delhi university....but my ultimate aim is an MBA frm the IVY League.....should I go for CFA??? i know I can do it....but is it worth it....m i thinking too much.....???or am i behaving like a kiddo who wants everything on its plate???

I am from delhi as well. I got the schweser notes couriered from mumbai from laxmi xerox.

The package arrives within a week or less.
As such i've heard that notes are also available in ber sarae though i am not sure of that.
And actually thanx for telling us about finguru, i myself was lookin for something like this. Though some of my friends suggest that along with self study just some guidance by a CA tutor around your place should be enough for CFA L1.
But i would anyway persue finguru & find out more about it soon. In the mean while if u get hold of some more\new info do keep us posted.

guys will be registering for CFA in a few dates time.I have done my graduation in b.com(hons) with a 40% aggregate.My concern is that considering the fact that I have a low graduation percentage and that I have done a 3 years graduation(regular),do I qualify to appear for CFA.I have a 4 years work ex.Also are we suppose to mention all the details (professional and all)before registeration.the work ex column has only one entry to be filled,whereas i have been working with different companies.Are we suppose to mention our latest work ex or all after graduation.
guys there are 5 set of schweser books to be read.But I am confused which book should one start with.Should one follow the pattern as it is.I mean book 1 first then book 2 and so on.Also in a particular book are there any chapters which are to be covered first.Plz do let me know.

yep.. even i was shocked the first time i heard it. But it is true. I bought CFA schweser material from them even before I paid for it.

As of now CFA insitute has not got permission to include Mumbai as test center.

the notes which u received are for 2010? and what is the cost which u shelled out?
i enquired in Delhi( nai sarak) and he was still handing me out 2009 notes as the latest ones.
