Finally, my first post on PG.
:To answer your question, our batch has 55% freshers and another 18% with less than a years work-ex. So as you can see, the chances for freshers to get in are fairly high, I am a fresher myself.
As far as the CAT score goes, i have no idea regarding the exact weightage, but it would be around 50%.

When is IIMI sending the forms that have to be filled.... I thought like IIMK they would be putting it up online.... but it looks as if it would be sent by snail mail... is the last date for that 20 Jan, too? seniors please reply.

Guess the IIMs have missed it up big time, this year.....Have come across atleast 3 other guys who have the same problem.....
Try calling up one of the concerned admissions office.....I am sure they will be considerate enuf to take this into account.....

Yes, you will receive your call letter and detailed form in snail main together. The form must be photocopied and worked upon. Also last year IIM I was the biggest form of all and if u work on it first you shud be able to get through the other forms quite easily

Mine is schduled on 2nd April, 2007. Couldn't understand, y is it so late? Also i managed to get two calls only from IIMA and I ... and A is on 18th of Feb, while I on 2nd April .... 45 days gap 😞

Contact the IIMI admission office. They might help you. I contacted them to change mine as I and K are on the same day. The person asked me to send a mail to the office. So even u can call up the admission office ( number is in the brochure). They will help i think

It is a telefax number. So u can call up on it too. They will link it to the person in charge

Me too a BBA and we have a few commerce grads here in our batch. Pls be prepared for questions on accounts, economics, HRM, any other management related subject expecally taxation and costing cause u r a CA.
At the same time be prepared for all industry data on ur business plus indepth competittor analysis, revenue structures, profits,etc
Have a very good set of reasons for WHy MBA and why CA, also keep clear short and long term goals.
