Is BPO Experience count as Valid for MBA ????
Hello. Quick academic background:
10th CBSE - 85%
12th CBSE Commerce - 80%
BCOM - 49%
CA - 3 attempts
Articleship mainly involved auditing and assurance work.
Am I now not eligible to do mba in India because of BCOM percentage below the 50% mark? And if by some miracle i get to give entrance tests and get a good score, what are the chances of getting into a good college?

I recently completed my MBA (MRM) from GNDU Amritsar and with my B.tech from PU Chandigarh .Got campus placed with Yes Bank .
Firstly >> Now , i'm looking forward to improve my profile academically and professionally so as to get a better placement .
Can some one guide me what other options do i have that i can attend to after MBA ?
Like any fellow programs or additional Diploma's or Training certificates that shall add value to my CV .
Secondly >> Has anyone tried and used the payed Resume services of Naukri.com or Shine.com or any other job portal ?
Do they really help ?
Is it worth making an investment in these ?

i am graduate of 2013 relieved batch,specialised in mechanical engineering.i got placed in TCS earlier with a package of 3.16 lakh per annum along with a bond of 2 years,still i am yet to receive by joining letter.Now,i got placed in hyundai R&D;,hyderabad with a package of 3.34 lakh per annum,but the reviews of employees in hyundai are not good,according to few internet websites and moreover the bond period is for 3 years.which one do you suggest?

Is NGO job consider as work experience in Top 20 B-school??
hello I a currently in ca final and aiming for cat 2014 , My 10 -12 grades are decent, 82 % in both , but my bcom % is going to be pretty low around 55 % correspondence ( results due ) .. i don't want to be another case where after getting good cat percentile i am rejected because of poor past acads.. there is a special arrangement between icai and ignou regarding m.com which gives a good relief in exemption of many exams to ca students. so i want to know whether doing m.com for the sake of getting into top bschool will be good or not will it give any extra advantage ? this degree won't be a burden at all since there are only 5 subjects that i need to give. i am already planning to do cfa level 1 at least by the time i go in for interviews . so a m.com with ca + cfa level 1( no work experience ) will give an edge to cover poor acads or not .thanks hoping for a reply. in short should i go for mcom ? if i get a good percentile in may 14 then i can say i am in final year of mcom in interview .

i completed my + 2 i the year 2006 .
then i dropped for one year and then i took admission in an engineering coll bt left dat as there was problem regarding their affiliation and recognition
so eventually i graduated in 2012
next i dropped for 1 year for cat prep and made it to one of the avg private coll bt im not satisfied with it so im preparing side by side for cat again
my ques is whether the decision im making is right i.e if i score above 90 %ile get selected in some good coll should i leave d coll as it will make 2 yrs of gap and if so how can i justify the gaps during gd/pi and eventually during placement .plz help me out as im in big dilemma .is there any way to hide my 2 yr gap after graduation ?

Hi , this would be my second season (and prbbly last one) with MBA entrances. My only aim is JBIMS.. in last CMAT i could manage only KJSOM(didnt take). So i quit my 30 month old job in May and am going full throttle on CMAT/CAT this year. I quit my job since i didnt want to feel later on that 100% effort was not given from my side towards my dream college JBIMS.. Its just once that you do an MBA in you life & i dont want to take my pursuit for my dream lightly with comfort of a in-hand job.
My dilemma is ,
Along with studies/mocks am developing my 2 hobbies (guitar & 3D animation). Not doing anything else. I am working to create a short film too , perhaps may join a short duration course in animation(4-6 months).
Can i cite my hobby development & short film creation + animation course as what i did apart from studies in this one year ????? or doing certifications/working with NGO can only cover up this 1 yr gap ????
(film will be at least put on youtube , i will try submitting it to small film festivals also though)

I secured 80s in X & XII, 53% in grads (aggregate) n 60% in Final year of Engineering. Our University (PU) mentions only final year scores on degree... PU & MU university pass outs know these university's are very conservative in giving marks... Was never into bootlicking professors, so there I lost about 5%(term work/orals)...
Recent IBPS PO notification made me realize I'm not eligible to apply coz of the 60% criteria.
So I'm out of league for the most of the Govt Jobs. Even if bag good BSchool there will be problem in placements (yes because of the glorious "60" figure). That defies the very purpose of post graduation. If I think of doing MS/MBA abroad, plan hits the same roadblock.
So what are the options for the people like me ??
Can any one guide me for top 10 institutes offering Executive MBA in Marketing, which I can target. I already have a 3 Years of work-ex and I am planning to do a full time executive MBA programme.
