hi guys...i m in dilemma whether to join SIOM or not (fees r around 9.6 lac) ..this is only convert of this year...last year i left my job for preparation..puys, plz suggest should i prepare for next year or join SIOM..
Guyz,
Sincere help needed...
Please help me choose between IMT-G (Mktng) and K J somaiya.
I know the obvious choice would be IMT-G but below are some points which I need to get cleared to go ahead with my decision.
1. K J somaiya is in Mumbai and I belong to Mumbai. So would relocation for IMT for 2 yrs and then might be for atleaset 2 more years for job be
an advisable option when I can take up KJ and mostly get a job in Mumbai.
2. K J is upcoming college whereas IMT is a brand which is degrading in value of late.
Is there a huge RISK involved in joining IMT ?
3.Batch size of 600 in IMt as compared to 300 in KJ,will it be a matter of concern ?
4. WIth approx 100 students yet to be placed in IMT ,KJ sounds a safe bet to me.
5. Fees of Kj is half to that of IMT.Although I dont believe much in ROI but
still its a lot of money :P
ALso, I have GIM and TAPMI inhand,so please let me know which can be the best option for me.
TIA !!!
hi everyone,
Hi guys i have some serious query,
I got 68.75 % in Class 10 (CBSE) , 72 % in 12th and 62 % in BE Graduation, Male Engineer. After Engineering i did Family Business but incurred heavy loss in that so i left it . due to the business i got a 3 years Gap , to fill it i joined a course from a institute and i got a 3 years Fake exp and i joined a Software company and finished 1 year there and got 1 year REAL Realtime experience. So actually i have 1 year real exp , but in resume i have now 4 years of exp. IT is fine but i dont like Coding , but right now i am coding. Will age be a problem / criteria for admission and placements considering my current age is 26 and at the end of completion i would be 28. At Bschool interviews can i mention as 4 years exp or should i mention only realtime 1 year exp ?
In an ideal world, a job would give you the money and time to live your dreams, spend time with friends and family, learn new skills, and not suffer the stifling atmosphere of office life. Right ?

I'm in a dilemma. I have converted Narsee Monjee (core 2 yr MBA) and XIM BM.
My profile:

Looking at the previous years' batch profile, I noticed that most students have
Having done some research, I found that ISB's one year programme would probably be better suited to my profile and now I am confused as to whether I should go for Narsee or wait out a year, give GMAT and try to get into the exec programs in India.
What should I do? Any suggestions? I'm having a tough time trying to decide.
Will clerk job in psb bank (bank of india ) will be considered as work experience for mba ?

with developers.I am also part of development team but this is very little part of job.

calls - IITB,IITD,IIMS and new IIMs

I am not still clear about my long term goal.At some point of time,I want to be an entrepreneur.I have some ideas about it but I am not convinced about
scalability, feasibilty and implementation.I am in dilemma Whether investment of 2 years of my life, college fees, living and other expense would yield desired results for
me.Today,I am earning around 7.4 lac/annum.I don't have any notionhow much I will get if I join any organization after completion of 2 year MBA.I am also thinking
whether 1 year MBA would be better choice. If yes, then which colleges should I target? How much will it cost to me?
Any input will be welcome! Thanks in advance.

Guys ,
I have a doubt. Even after studying in Top Bschools , at the time of placements , do the companies conduct Aptitude tests again ?
Hi,
Hi all, fellow puys! 😃
Hi puys... need some help from you. I am currently working in Mid Size IT firm as Process Consultant. 8 months of experience on BFSI domain. I appeared for CMAT and scored 94 percentile. I am hoping to convert National Insurance Academy (NIA Pune) with that score, GD PI also went well. But sadly NIA`s fees is 10L and its a big issue for me since the avg placements at NIA are only 6-7 LPA. I am planning to appear for CAT 14 and all other exams again. Is it a wise decision to leave NIA for another attempt if i convert?
Hi all,
For getting admission into IIM's or top business schools in INDIA for doing 1year full time MBA (executive) whether GMAT score is must or CAT score is enough?
Thanks in advance
