I was checking colleges with my friends and he told me not to go for IILM lodhi, as it only offers PGP and not PGDM.
Why should I opt out of taking PGP?
Please help me out not much time left for GD/PI schedules.
Also, please help me find the best college under the following circumstances :
MAT Percentile : 98.17
Graduation Marks : 47%
Only south delhi.
Thank You Alot.
Also I'm Considering
EMPI, ****, JIMS(Though the UG percentage thing might be a problem).
Why is I S B F starred?
My academic background is-
X- 89%-2004
X+2-83.7%-2006
B.Tech in Electronics & Comm.-77.10%-2010
after being passed out I was unable to attend most of the off-campus recruitment(TCS,INFY,CTS) due to some health problem. after recovering, I have brushed up my basic technical knowledge, also learned java and oracle but finding no oppertunities in MNCs as well as small companies(as they prefer xp or reference, I dont have any). Within 2-3 months 2012 batch will be passed out, then my validity will be expired as an engineer.
Plz suggest me what to do? If I do M.Tech (microelectronics /VLSI), from a good college, will they allow me to seat for the on-campus recruitment?
plz help and guide me, I am totaly confused what to do.

Hi, I got an offer from L&T; Infotech to join as Senior Software engineer (A 1-2 grade) in Bangalore.
I have 6.5 years of experience in IT and have worked as Module leader (B3 band) in WIPRO and Senior Associate in Cogniazant. I am not getting much of a hike in salary in L&T; Infotech, so wanted to know what a Senior software engineer corresponds to in other companies, or should I ask for a better grade considering I am not getting much hike.
In case such a topic is already covered please direct me there.
Thanks.

I am having 5.6 years of experience in sales and marketing.though I got into middle management early in my career.I am stuck there for last 3 years.
I want to get into higher managerial position. Also i am exposed to a uni dimensional career. In short i want a break into a high managerial level position.i have changed job three times in this 5.6 years. All the co.s in the interview always promised growth, but gave me to handle same profile.
i would like to know whether doing a full time MBA from MAT colleges, will be of any help?I gave cat this year but got only70.XX percentile. friends are advising me to write GMAT.but its bit costly also i am looking for an MBA course costing not more than 6 lakhs.I have some savings with which i can fend myself during the course. Also one more important factor is my present salary which is quite low.fresh graduates passing out of even B grade school earn more than myself.
i am eligible for exec-pgdm from wellingar or soumiya, i am having doubts about doing exec-pgdm ? are they at par with industry standards or after doing a exec-pgdm i will again be stuck ?

Hi everyone.
I'm Atul . I graduated as a mechanical engineering last year, 2011, and have been working at the Essar Jamnagar Refinery since.. I gave CAT 2010 and achieved a percentile score of 99.52 but failed to get calls from any iim. This was probably due to my acads.. My percentages in 10th, 12th and degree are 81, 79 and 64 respectively. I'm debating on whether to give cat this year or to wait another year and try next year with more work exp..

passing percentage in both ca and cfa is less, but in my case as i have cleared 2step in ca so whether it will be better to go for ca or cfa.for cfa i have to clear 3 step which also cost much to me at this point of time.i want to be an analyst and in the market requirement for anlalyst in india requires ca ,but with mnc they prefer cfa more than ca.and in mumbai along with job and without coachng is it possible to do ca final.

Since you have completed your CA-Inter, it is better to continue with CA-Final. Prepare well for CA and stop thinking about anything else. Prepare well for CA Final.
