passing percentage in both ca and cfa is less, but in my case as i have cleared 2step in ca so whether it will be better to go for ca or cfa.for cfa i have to clear 3 step which also cost much to me at this point of time.i want to be an analyst and in the market requirement for anlalyst in india requires ca ,but with mnc they prefer cfa more than ca.and in mumbai along with job and without coachng is it possible to do ca final.
Palak Mathur Says
Since you have completed your CA-Inter, it is better to continue with CA-Final. Prepare well for CA and stop thinking about anything else. Prepare well for CA Final.
I agree with palak..concentrate only on CA final now..

Hello everyone,
I wish to pursue MBA. Due to financial as well as time/location concerns, a correspondence course suits my needs better.
Could you kindly advise me on the institutes that offer the best options via correspondence? For example - SMU, ICFAI, IMSRI, n one is internation MBA from united business school belgium
While the primary factor in my opinion is the market value of the course(by future employers), I need to take monetary factors into account so it would be appreciated if you could also mention a rough estimate of the amount required for the course.

:banghead:I know i may sound foolish to many people but please help me guys. I am a b.tech graduate 2011 batch . I have worked as a Testing engg for Ienergizer for 6 months and now as Software tester.
Now my problem is this that I want to do MBA but i have not given any exam like CAT/MAT/GMAT . Can it be possible to take admission in some good B-School? I am thinking of giving IELTS for New Zealand colleges can somone help me out in finding some B-School outside India also.
Thanx
Well you can always write CAT in November and considering that you are only 2011 graduate... i wonder what is stopping you ....!!!
What are the courses available after b.tech engineering? All I know is either go for M.Tech, MBA or law. Are there only these 3 options to go for? I mean, really just 3 options?
Dont see mba as 1 option. there are diff verticals in MBA like finance/hr/logistics/supply chain/it/. similar with m.tech. or you can go some other specialisation in ur field. you have more options than a regular grad. You can go form mba in IIT(only open to engrs/pg) you can go for law from iit kgp(only open to engrs/pg) You can go for PSU jobs. or PSB jobs. You can for IAS/IES

It totally depends on what your priorities are in terms of MBA. Do you want to do it only from an IIM or if you can do it from a good enough B-School say top 20-25, then SIBM is good enough. But remember 1 thing, you can only give your 100% to the exams next season and the outcome is not in your hands. So, my suggestion would be to weigh the options properly depending on your needs. Hope that helps
My profile, 10th: 72% 12th: 83% BBE(Shivaji college, Delhi University): 64% Work ex: 6 months with AON Hewitt as a Data Analyst and 7 months(currently working) with KPMG as a research analyst. I appeared for CAT for the 3rd time and scored 86%, have a call from FORE and expecting calls from KJ Somaiya and TAPMI. I have got mixed responses for these colleges. Currently, I intend to join one of these colleges(if I clear GD PI ). I have not performed well even in the last two years and I am really skeptical about dropping this year, also taking into consideration that few IIM`s(old) will not consider my profile because of my acads.
Are colleges like FORE worth joining? Would it make a radical change in my profile and package(currenty close to 4)

Not being being diplomatic i think if you fet selected in SIBM go for it....its not a bad option....who knows next time you apparing for CAT may not show that scores which are needed ....so you getting the opportunity in SIBM so grab it .....best of luck:)

Good marks faizah... gr8 going better to do job for 2 or 3 years then do MBA and try for CAT and XAT.....but do job for some time so you get some good exposure to industry. And while choosing the job try to do in a position near to managers to keep track which help you in your MBA... all the best
10th : 87% 12th : 89% B.Tech Mechanical : 65% Work-ex : 33 months with L&T; Power work-ex performance good extra currics : average

i am not experienced puy but the thing GMAT you wanna do MBA in abroad present Europe position is not good less job and USA is closing its outsourcing so its difficult to get job there. and next time CAT is based on your confidence.
