The Post Graduate Programme in Software Enterprise Management (PGSEM) leading to a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Enterprise Management is an executive general management education programme that targets software professionals.
E-MBA is the Executive MBA that can be in any field. So we cannot compare these two courses. Hope this helps.. !!

This depends on college if they consider it or not.
If at all they will consider, you will have to submit the proper documents like "Joining Letter", "Pay Slips", "Work-ex Certificate" and may be some documents about the Family Business.
There is no harm in mentioning though in the Application form for CAT/XAT or for that matter when you apply to any college.. !!
hi puys m new to PG , i will be completing my B.sc in aug 2012 and m preparing for cat 2012 by myself though i hav joined for time tests aimcat but yaar scores linger around 75-80 %ile. i dont know wat i will do in cat wid dis performance and also i dont have placements so it adds up to d confusion wat i will do after passout frm clg. to all puys pls suggest d way out ,as for now i m totally frustrated which is harming my preparations further and m unable to study and concentrate ....

Don't go by the mock scores. Hard work is the only way and keep doing that. Scoring 75-80%ile right now in AIMCATS is not at all bad. People scoring even below this finally end up getting 99%ile in CAT. So don't get too worried. You will get free after August. Give your full attention only on CAT/XAT Preparations and I am sure you will score a very good %ile in CAT. All the Best.. !!!
Hi guys Im Vishal from mumbai. I graduated this year itself (B.com). I have no work ex. I have an interest in finance field but Im not sure what to do. Im preparing for CAT/CMAT and IBPS & other bank exams this year. If I want to work in a bank is MBA necessary at the moment? Cause many of my friends said take work ex first and then do MBA. or should I do MBA as a fresher and then get into a bank?
I still have backlogs in engineering 4 sem . I am currently in final year . while filling Cat form should i include the backlog subjects marks or ignore it because it will change afterwards .

1. MBA is not mandatory for working in a bank.
2. Doing MBA as a fresher or not is totally your Call. Since you will be working in a bank and then even after MBA, you would like to get back to Banks only, having work-ex will be benificial in that case. Work-ex becomes a problem in case one wants to change his field.
3. So I would suggest you to give your best towards CAT/XAT as that will also help prepare for your Bank Related Exams. And then after your Results, you can decide where to go depending upon the exam/college you get through.

You can ignore it as of now as you will be Re-Appearing for it. All the best..

MBA is not necessary for working in a bank. But the coveted roles in a bank are offered to MBA's or people who have background in finance ( certifications or CA's or Mcoms). So MBA will definitely help you get a good role in a bank. Meanwhile you can join a bank given your background in an entry level position.

Dont worry about mock scores too much , continue to work hard , try and analyze mocks and commit new mistakes .. and learn ..
Try get around the 90 mark in CAT , plenty of good b-schools will open door for you ..
All the best ..,. Getting frustrated doesnt change the position you stand now .. only working and improving can get you moving ..

@[539375:americanidiot16] Not much but a CFA or FRM will certainly do. Instead of NCFM you can try out the FLIP certifications as they have tie ups with various banks for jobs.

AIMCAT scores of 75-85 percentile is very good. Remember only the serious CAT applicants will be taking AIMCAT. Just keep working and you will do well. ATB
