hi can u tell me that what kind of questions dey were asking (acads or work-ex)in the interview?? which form (Snap one or SIOM one)they are carrying with them? from where they are accessing our details? what is the procedure? are they checking certificates and all that stuff??
Hi Amit,
It would be great help to us if you could throw some light on the Q's that were asked in your PI.
what is the area they are grilling on Work Ex. or Acads
If Acads,
What level of knowledge they are expecting??
kinnasna
hi friends,
myself scoring very low in snap only 62 , am quite nervous about the gd and pi . can any one share his experiences about his gd and pi . And the topics given for gds.

ALL the Best Guys...
for all the aspirants who have interview centre at nashik, please note that u willl be here on the time ur required to be. at no point of time ur gd schedules will be changed. already ur teams for gds and cases have been decided and so please dont take any chances. please reserve ur tickets and see to it that u have some buffer time bfore the actual process.
we welcome all of u to stay here in our campus for the stay so that u can have lot of information from us. both positive and negative.
at this juncture i think it will be better if u can
1. know about ur workex
2. know some tech in engg(not too much)
3. basics of GD i mean the procedure
4. how to solve a case
dont worry too much. the more u worry, the worse ur situation is.
all the best once again.

hello guys and gals,
it is very xiting to see the tough compitation going on at 4 parts of the country. realy none of us xpected the selection process to be so tough. i don't know how it looks for u ppl but it is realy carrying great message throught the country about the quality of SIOM. i may look little rude to u guys but it is creating brand name of SIOM and matching the requirements of the family, "Symbiosis". well, after all healthier compitation is wat all we look for and its the same thing going on.
guys as amit said never try to prepare for GD/PI at last moment. insted go and present wat u are.
denish u have already crossed a barrier called shortlisting tro' snap score be happy for wat ever ur now and concentrate on GD/PI.
hello vdcontagious for GD/PI, pannel will carry only SIOM forms, now it is nothing to do with snap form.
at last i would like to advice to all of u is. plzz present wat ur realy, don't try to imitate some one- "all are not good actors/actress".
all best for u guys and gals.

It takes nearly 30 to 40 mins from Nasik Road Railway station to the College by Auto and they charge you anywhere between Rs.80 to Rs.100. If you have a heavy luggage, then you can choos ethis or the other cheapest option would be,
1. Go to any Share Autowala in Nasik Road Railway station (u can find them a lot there)
2. Ask for Dwarka.
3. Get down there and again ask for a share auto to Patherdi Patha.
4. Get down at Patherdi Patha .Landmark will , a Sivaji Statue .
5. From there 5 to 8 mins walk you can see the BIG BOARD of Symbisosis.
6. Take a Right Turn and walk for another 2 mins, you can reach the campus.
As far as stay is concerned, it depends on your budget, I would suggest you to go through the GD list produced in our website, where at the last you can find a list of Hotels along with tariff structure for your convinence.
My suggestion would be come stay at hostel enjoy the atmosphere and the environment in which we are here today and decide.
railway station is 12 km from SIOM.

Hi guys,
ICFAI HYD Vs SIOM. What's your take?
Me confused. I don't have sufficient numbers from SIOM to draw the comparison. Kindly help!

Me confused. I don't have sufficient numbers from SIOM to draw the comparison. Kindly help!
Abhishek
please don't compare apple and oranges.
Both are different and particular in their own field of management. If you have the urge for Operations Management come to SIOM, else go for ICFAI.And if you are going to join ICFAI, then Hyderabad is the best.
Hello to all,
well its been long since i wrote. Just yesterday I came back from my Gd and pi held in Delhi. Wow what an experience ok now let me tell u in detail what happened this is mainly for Nasik gd pi shortlisted candidates. My reporting time was 0745 hrs on 16th at Tecnia inst. in Delhi. We were taken to seminar hall and were handed over batch nos. which were our application nos. our batch strength was some where around 60 i suppose. we were divided in 3 groups for 3 pannels we were further divided in a group of 10. well our gd started at about 0835hrs with a case study for about 15min then we had a gd we were given 3 topics and we had to choose 1. topics were 1. If u cant compete than collaborte. 2. Old wine in a new bottle. 3. Just do it. Our group chose 3rd topic. At 0900hrs there was one more batch of 60 candidates and i think there were 2 more batches after this. At about 1215hrs list of shortlisted candidates for 1st pi was put up around 37-38 candidates were shortlisted(I was one of them ) out of 2 groups 0745hrs and 0900hrs. In my group 4 were shortlisted in some only 2 and in some none. Our 1st pi was held next day at 0900hrs we were again divided in 3 grps and had same faculty for our pi who took our gd. Well i was the first one in my group for the pi but i have to admit our pannel was cool (Mr. Manoj Hundnurkar and one mam) they never grilled any one, those with work ex were only asked on work ex and those who were freshers were asked from academics. Well my pi was too short i beleive the shortest it lasted for only 5 min. Anyways had a good pi but everyone had a good pi that was the problem. Around 1215hrs or so the list of shortlisted candidates for dir pi was put up and guess what i was thru wow
around 7-8 names were put up. Had my int with dir it lasted for about 15 min and i have to admit he's strictly sober and a gentleman. He too asked me about my field of work and how do i relate my field with op mgt. and about recently concluded Nuclear deal etc. Well lets see what happens next right now I am waiting for 25th result. best of luck to all Nasik people and yes its better if you know something about APICS, 6 Sigma and SAP because many were asked about this.
I would like to say thanks to all the seniors who have really helped us throughout.
Take care.
Jus a frnd......
