I had attended the gd/pi on 11th @ chennai. I would like someone to clarify whether there'll be any elimination after the Director's interview, because when I enquired with them, they said its justa formal talk b4 joining & thr wouldnt be any elimination.
Also if I get the call, what is the kindof initial prep v have to do while arriving on campus.
hai guys. long since i posted. finally the aspirants are out here in the campus. around 160. the similar process happened here. but frankly speaking the panel members were really not satisfied with the team in nashik. and here 36 students were selected for the directors interview.
the answer to the previous post is the directors interview is a selection based and not a formality. as far as i know 17 from chenni and 36 from nashik. i dont know from cal and del. from this data i infer what i said.
some were pretty lucky to get into the inteview. and few other are even lucky to get good chance else where. i bid farewell to all those in the thread but lucky enough.
meeting some of the pg guys were exciting. hope to see some more in the month of june. well please dont prepare to arrange too much bfore joining in SIOM but jus remember that u will probably be going to home for diwali and get urselves prepared.

i appeared in delhi and made it to directors interview.it was more of
conversation type rather than an interview.
the director is really a cool headed intelligent person.
total number of students in this round was 45.

out of 121, assume 20 waitlisted will get confirmed admission bcoz i know a lot of guys who had other significant calls in their hand.
so its about 80 out of 121.

Dear Seniors,
Plz tell us whats happening at SIOM. Right now they have shortlisted around 121 candidates and further shortlisting will be done. On what basis is this shortlisting going to be done. By the way how are they gonna compare candidates from 4 diffrent centres. Things are getting tougher out here every next stage seems tough lets see what happens. But after crossing all these stages if you see your name in the waiting list it makes one feel bad. Anyways best of luck to all and let deserving candidates get through.

i got shortlisted for the directors pi too...
& nasik campus certainly looks like a good place to b in in the next 2 years 
but now after checkin the posts i m a bit worried coz 45 students from delhi is a big number and it again boils down to a ratio of 1:2.
man these keeps getting tougher nd tougher .
as of it gettin shortlisted thrice from written to gd , gd to pi , pi to directors pi was not enough .......

directors pi was cool but getting shortlisted from 121 candidates to a batch of mere 60 looks like a big ask ....

its a bit confusing in the prospectus....
as far as the experience on the campus goes the campus is good..
and the canteen is still better with soundian food served once in a week.. well for me its still better as i relish southindian food....
hostel good but with mosquitoes.... but will do....
our gd and the case study was a mess.. but god knows how 6 of 10 from our grp were selected.. i suppose rest was even worst!!!!!
the interview was with some rashmi or reshma mam(hr faculty) and was brief of just 5 min...
directors interview was streched for 30 min....
so lets "wait n watch"
well did even get time of interaction with some students...
so over all a good experience..

the funniest part being i came to knw aftr the intrvw got ovr.they cudn contct me bfr and evntuly cud on sun.hp to meet pg seniors at nasik on wed.

hello to all,
final aggregate scoring is going on. it was learnt tat chennai center was xtreeemly well. at the same time nasik center did not meet up to xpectations. any how final results will be out on 25th. lets wait and watch. being an HR inclined guy, the point i would like to make here is, entire process was well defined, standerdised, and well planned. the entire assement process was very relevent and apropreate one. as for as i found there was no flaw in it. hats up for such a process to management.

just wait and watch, nothing more can be commented at this particular point of time. the results will be out on the day as specified. hold ur tensions for a couple of days and u will be relieved.
