Now that most of the symbiosis instiutes have announced their results,
is it possible to predict the cut off for SIOM this year?

Hey all SEEOM's

Now the cutoff for SITM is out. its 71 for system and finance, and 74+ for marketing and finance, what do u guys think about the cutoff going to be for SIOM's. I think it is going to be more than 70+ atleast.

As my score is 65.75 and work ex of 1.5 yrs. Do i have enough chance to get a call for gd/pi, I don't think so. I have not purchased the form yet....a bit confused....wants comments of SeeOm guys n gals....should i apply or not.

dont thank us too much.
even we have faced the same problem last year, but we didnt have seniors and we faced even more problem. we dont want our juniors to face it.
.... and regarding the cutoffs, SIOM is completely different from all other symbi brands. dont just go about the cutoffs. see even in other big symbi brands the cut off will only be for the freshers ( might be). but when workex adds it defnitely comes down. and this is the only institute gives preference to workex. so siom might not declare the cutoff.
just enjoy ur life till feb 15th and then start preparing for gd s and pi s.

....those who didnt buy the forms..please throw ur 1100 now itself. iam literally seeing lots of application forms being posted everyday. dont feel guilty later. make ur way into SIOM and be a "seeOM" for this life.

snap:67.75,
12th: 80.5%
10th: 83.5%
B.tech ECE-2005 pass out with 66%
I have calls from scit and sicsr..will siom consider me...No work experience..

I have not yet started any preparation..The first thing i have done is to register with this forum..

Kindly help me out.... FEB 11 & FEB 18.. are my gd/pi dates...

I am presently doing compTIA's N+..

I got 77. How high have you heard of SIOM. What was average placement last year when it was a part of SCMHRD.
Do you think the change from SCMHRD to SIOM will have any effect on its placements???

hey ppl out there it seems even SIOM is gonna give profile based calls. jus like scit or others because my friend who had 67 as snap score didnt get call from scit but other guy who had 55 got the call jus because he (call getter) was a comp. engg. while my frnd a mech engg. so i expect the same here. ur work ex will surely serve as boon plus ur acads. rest everything is on GOD. so chill out folks even if u have low snap score but r havin good work ex or so....... u can expect to get a call.

currently i'm doing B.Tech in textile chemistry from GNDU amritsar with 67%

+2 - 65.1%
10th - 78%

snap score - 79.25

please tell what are my chances to get a call.

and please through some light on the placement senario , like average sal., maximum sal.

One more thing im concernd abt is whether i shud fill up SIOM ,me bein a fresher with 69%agg. ,no work-x,comp ssci engg.

??: guys... i wanted a piece of info...
exactly how many days does it take 2 get d forms once u have applied for it....its been around a week and there's still no response frm SIOM...
moreover going by d cut-offs of sitm & siib d u guys think there's any chance in d hell 2 get a call at 66...

scmhrd and siom is different as the brand matters a lot. but i think last year the MOM batch of scmhrd got an avg of around 4.5 ( i am not 100% sure).

if u got a call from scmhrd, ur snap score might be good. so just apply and all the best.

just confirm by callling up the admission office in SIOM (Mrs Smitha). u will get in about 10 days as there are holidays in between and its a two way journey. dont worry time is still left.
66....i cant comment as SIOM goes by various parameters. but still have confidence.

its not that SIOM prefers mech. its the other way round instead students think that SIOM is for mech like u. to know about the course just go to www.siom.in.
to know about the future of comp grads....most of the IT companies are preferring operations managers and they also need apics certified professionals and SIOM make them. dont worry about future just convert ur calls.
