HI
besides the tas application what else do you need to submit to your SPOC also after giving it to HRspoc what is teh process does anybody has an idea
I dunno... I guess one case can be that they might be shortlisting the applicants based on their profile like they do in a B-school... but that seems a rare possibility coz most of the people who are applying would surely be qualifying the madatory criteria unless someone is fudging data...
so my best bet would be that everyone with proper data should get an interview call... lets wait n watch :cheerio:
If i am not wrong, we would now have a profile based screening now.
I remember reading these stats somewhere about 2009:
Total form submissions last yr: 300 (approx)
Total profiles shortlisted for GD / Case study : 100 (approx)
Total profiles shortlisted for final interview : 25 (approx)
Final shortlist : 10
Pls post that link if someone finds it.
Cheers,
Ritesh

Ritesh,
You are correct on the couple of figures
Application submitted were 314
and final shortlist were 10
Could not get anything on the profile based shortlist.
but if only 100 were shortlisted for GD and CS then there would be only around 12-15 people in each zone... but according to Silvers there were 36 alone in US zone in 2008... n the number of applicants hasnt changed drastically over the years..
Puys throw some light on this...
Well, I am not sure on the numbers but I think Ritesh is correct ....
As per the application process mentioned on TAS website. the list of shortlisted candidates will be announced on 10th Apr.
Vaibhav,
Can you pls confirm on the process?
All,
1) How diff is a Chairman's GD than a regular GD? M assuming none ..... except they expect it to be less noisy....
2) Case Study based presentation -- Is it a part of the GD or a separate process post GD???
Cheers
Pritesh

@CS : only the shortlists of GD would present the case study.
@shortlist of next round: I have some serious doubts about the process. looks good on paper but doesnt seem much stringent in reality. Remember we were given the unique id after registration, but in the application we havent mentioned it anywhere. we didnt even get a mail on whether we have cleared the cutoff.
So is it part of the process or does the website require overhauling

metastate SaysIf i am correct u r Saad.....

It will be fun to hear the details from someone who has applied before. Please share it with us all?

Dude, u still awake...

Hey Ashu
Yes, thanks to TCS .......
Its been a touch and go case for me today ....
The HR had to wait from 4 to 7:30 P.M. today for me to submit the form ........ I had to literally run to catch her and finally submit it before she left ..... and no guesses she was made at me when I finally submitted my form ...

Contact the HR Head of your company as soon as possible. They should be able to help you out. You can find the HR SPOC list from the TAS in-house website.
