One of the best engineering schools in the nation, IIT Varanasi, is renowned for offering positions to its students while they are still on campus. The institute’s Training and Placement Cell is in charge of the placement efforts. The Placement cell is in charge of giving the students internships over the summer when the curriculum is still in effect.

Prior to entering the workforce, the internships make sure that the students have received the necessary training. The placement cell chooses students with the necessary abilities and talents and invites businesses that might be interested in hiring their students. They maintain records of the businesses that come, the jobs that are offered, and the chosen pupils. In order to prepare the students for their employment tasks, they also hold pre-placement discussions.

Beginning in December and running through the summer of the following year, the batch placements. 83 businesses from a range of industries took part in the placement drive for the 2018 cohort. 264 students were assigned with the visiting companies on the first day of campusing. On day two, 111 more students were placed. The students were given wage packages ranging from 9.60 to 47 lakhs per year.

The students were given a total of 683 job offers at the conclusion of the procedure. The company with the biggest wage package, offering 1.52 crores annually, was situated in the US. Four of the campus campaign participants earned remuneration packages totaling more than one crore annually. Popular hiring firms included Facebook, Oracle, Infosys, Tata Motors, Flipkart, Cognizant, and others.
