Placements at IIT Patna

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna, also known as IIT Patna, saw record placements for the graduating class of 2022 during the phase 1 placement season, which took place in the first week of December 2021. This year, the number of offers, the highest domestic and average packages, and the number of PPOs have all increased.

During Phase 1 placements at IIT Patna, approximately 87 recruiters made 252 offers, with the highest CTC standing at INR 61.3 LPA, the average CTC standing at INR 26.95 LPA, and approximately 46 offers being extended with more than INR 40 LPA.

The campus selection process for the students of the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna’s 2022 batch is currently underway (IIT Patna). This process will last until April. In the second phase, 245 students received 313 job offers. 190 BTech students and 55 MTech students have been placed as a result of this.

The institute has released its 2021 placement report, in which 125 companies took part this year. A total of 175 students were placed, with 140 students from B.Tech and 35 students from M.Tech. A total of 223 placement offers were made to students.

B.Tech students received the highest CTC of INR 54.57 LPA, while M.Tech students received INR 52.50 LPA. The average CTC for B.Tech students was INR 16.17 LPA, INR 12.11 LPA for M.Tech students, and INR 6.97 LPA for M.Sc students.

The institute is also holding summer internship placements for the 2021 class, and 83 students have already been offered internship opportunities.

Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Amazon, Games Kart, and Codenation were among the top recruiters who took part in the 2021 placement drive.

IIT Patna Placements 2022 Report

During phase 1 of the 2022 placement drive, 87 recruiters participated, 30 of whom were first-time recruiters, and 252 offers were made to students.

Around 78 percent of B.Tech students and 40 percent of M.Tech students were placed, with the highest CTC standing at INR 61.3 LPA offered by Oracle to 9 students and the average CTC standing at INR 26.95 LPA for the M.Tech course. Nearly all Computer Science and Engineering students were placed.

125 companies visited the campus during IIT Patna Placements 2021. The recruiters made a total of 223 placement offers. During the placement drive, 140 B.Tech and 35 M.Tech students were placed. When compared to the previous year, the percentage of Offers increased by 10.39 percent.

100% of Engineering students were placed, with 94.59 percent of Electrical Engineering students placed, 93.33 percent of B.Tech Computer Science students placed, 85.71 percent of Civil Engineering students placed, and 82.35 percent of Chemical Engineering students placed.
