This placement season, the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT GN), one of the league’s youngest IITs, set a new standard. According to sources, a Germany-based company offered 40 LPA to two BTech students, the highest ever at the institute. The UG programmes collectively had a placement rate of more than 80%, and PG placement increased threefold.

The institute is currently conducting its placement drive for the class of 2022, and there has been a 60% increase in the number of PPOs, a 30% increase in the acceptance rate, and a 55% increase in the number of students placed. The highest CTC offered is around INR 50 LPA.
