SPJIMR Mumbai is a private management college and has been ranked 19th by NIRF 2021 ranking and #151 – 200 in the list of QS World University Ranking 2022. SP Jain Institute of management is a part of Bharatiya Vidhya Bhawan and is recognized by NBA, UGC, and AACSB (Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The college releases the first shortlist on the basis of consistency of Academic Record, Relevance of Work Experience and Versatility & Achievements. Further, the college will release the second phase of shortlist as per Entrance Test Scores. The final selection list of SP Jain Institute of Management & Research is based on a composite score, Applicants Profile, Academic Record, Entrance Test Score, Work Experience and PI Performance. The minimum cut off for SPJIMR PGDM admissions is 85 percentile for CAT/ GMAT. 

Apart from its PGDM/MBA program, offers Post-Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), Global Management Program (GPM), Post-Graduate Management Program for Women (PGPMW), Fellow Program in Management (FPM), PGPFMB (Family-Managed Business) and Post-Graduate Executive Management Program (PGEMP). SPJIMR has recently launched Business Analytics under PGPM course.

The admission process at SPJIMR is profile based. PGEMP admission at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research is conducted through the year across 5 batches, while for PGPM candidates must have minimum 5 years of work experience, GMAT/NMAT/CAT/XAT score and SoP is mandatory for PGMPW and GMP Courses. Also candidates with minimum 3 years work experience are preferred for FPM admission.

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research Mumbai popularly known as SPJIMR has concluded its final placement drive for the batch 2022 with an Average Salary of INR 32.05 LPA with an increase of 23% from last year. The Median Salary stood at INR 30.10 LPA with over 59% of the batch received the package above INR 30 LPA and Over 87% of the batch received the package of more than INR 25 LPA.

SPJIMR has concluded its PGPM placements for the 2021-22 batch. According to media reports, there was 20% increase in the average CTC which stood at INR 23.6 LPA. During the placement drive, 75 companies recruited 130 participants and 51% of the students were placed in the Consulting companies.

The college released its 2021 placement report for the PGDM batch in a record time of two days, over 75 new recruiters participated in the placement drive, who offered an Average package worth INR. 26.06. LPA. The Highest Salary package stood at INR 46.65 LPA. 26.2% of the batch received salary packages of INR 30 LPA & more than that. Students received 79 pre-placement offers.

During the placement drive, the consulting sector emerged as the top recruiting sector with offers rolled out to 36 per cent of the batch of 233 participants. Some of the top recruiters were- Colgate-Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, L’Oréal, Marico, Mondelez, Procter & Gamble, Barclays, Citibank, Flipkart, Amazon, Boston Consulting Group, Capgemini ELITE, Mahindra GMC, RPG, and etc.

The institute has also released its autumn summer internship report in which 88 companies participated and the Highest Stipend stood at INR 3.2 Lakhs whereas the Average Stipend stood at INR 2 Lakhs.

The BT-MDRA Best B-School Survey ranking has been released and SPJIMR stood at 5th rank under the category of the Placement Experience.

SP Jain (SPJIMR) Mumbai Cut Off 2022

SP Jain Institute of Management Mumbai grants admission in PGDM courses on the basis of GMAT and CAT entrance exam scorecard. XAT score is not accepted for the 2022 admission process for the PGDM course. The minimum percentile required for scoring admission in a PGDM course is 85 percentile in CAT or a GMAT entrance exam.

SPJIMR, Mumbai also offers a GMP course on the basis of GMAT/GRE/ CAT/ XAT entrance exam scorecard. The minimum cutoff marks required in GMAT entrance exam is 300 marks for taking admission in GMP course.

Apart from the PGDM and GMP course SP Jain also offers PG courses on the basis of GMAT/GRE/CAT/ MAT/XAT entrance exam scorecard. Admission to diploma in various specializations is granted depends on the basis of GMAT/CAT/NMAT/XAT score followed by an interview round.

SP Jain Mumbai MBA Cutoff 2022

SPJIMR PGDM (MBA) admission process includes 3 stages. The initial stage is the screening process for the first Interview, followed by the second stage and second shortlisting for the 2nd Interview. Lastly, the MBA selection list is declared based on combined parameters. The minimum overall cut off for CAT or GMAT entrance score is 85 percentile. The sectional cut off for the same is 75 percentile.
