Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), established in 1995, is a part of IIT Bombay. SJMSOM offers a two-year flagship MBA program in management as well as Doctoral Programs in Management. The College has been ranked 11 for NIRF 2020 and 13 for its MBA by The Week 2020. The school also offers short-term programs in areas of management for the faculty of technical and management institutions during the Summer and winter seasons.

SJMSOM accepts the scores of CAT /GMAT for its Masters's program in Management. TOEFL/IELTS tests are also given to prove English proficiency. For the Doctoral Program, the candidates are required to submit an SOP on the proposed area of research. The Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test followed by an interview. The SJMSOM CAT Cutoff 2020 for its admission to the Management Courses was 98 percentile.

SJMSOM has successfully completed its final placement process for its batch 2020-22 despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 Pandemic. SJMSOM IIT Bombay Admissions 2022

SJMSOM IIT Bombay Admission 2022 for the 2-year full-time MBA will be based on the CAT scores followed by Written Ability Test and Personal Interview. Application forms will be released on the official website of the institute in the month of January after the announcement of CAT results. Final SJMSOM admissions are based on the composite score of CAT and PI. Apart from MBA, SJMSOM also offers Interdisciplinary Dual Degree Program (IDDDP) in Management, EMBA and PhD courses. IDDDP in Management is a specially designed program for the 4th year B Tech/BS/Dual Degree to students of IITB. While the minimum eligibility criteria for MBA/EMBA is CAT. For PhD Program admissions 2022, aspirants must have a post-graduate degree in a relevant subject, along with CAT / GATE or GRE score.

SJMSOM Placements 2022

SJMSOM IIT Bombay has recently concluded the placement drive for its 2020-22 batch with a 100% placement record. The batch has achieved the highest ever salary package this year. Recruiters came from various sectors. Among all the sectors, Consulting, FMCG / Manufacturing sectors dominated the placement drive. Major recruiters included JP Morgan, ICICI Bank, Infosys Consulting, KPMG Global Services, PwC India, Wipro, MAQ Software and many more.

The 2022 final placement report has been released. According to the report, the highest salary package which stood at INR 49 LPA in 2022, increased by 49.39% (approx.) compared to last year. The 2020-22 batch received an average salary of INR 25.9 LPA which again increased by 18.1% compared to the previous year.

SJMSOM Cut-Off 2021

SJMSOM CAT Cut-off 2021 for the MBA course is yet to be released by the institute. The institute accepts the CAT cut-off released by IIMs.

SJMSOM is only considering those candidates who exceed the minimum limit of CAT 2020 partial percentiles, overall percentile ranks, and all CAT parts-positive baseline scores (greater than zero) for all subsequent levels in 2020.

Admission to MBA and EMBA programs are based on valid CAT score and admissions to the PhD program is done based on GATE/CAT score.
