Chandigarh University offers various courses in different specialization and time duration to many students from all around India. Alongside the regular UG and PG courses, the university provides some integrated courses which are BBA-LL.B, BA-B.Ed, B.Sc-MBA etc. It also offers B.Pharm and B.E. programmes in regular as well as a lateral entry mode.

- Aspirants who are interested in taking admission in UG courses like B.A., B.SC, B.COM, can fill up the application form if they have completed Higher Secondary Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates applying for B. Tech and B.E. courses are selected based on their score in CUSAT (Chandigarh University Scholarship Admission Test, which is followed by a counselling process.
- Chandigarh University admission criteria for PG courses varies due to different specializations. To take admission in M.E, students have to clear their UG course (B.E) with 55% marks. Later on, they are required to give an interview, conducted by the university itself.
- A student who has cleared GATE exam also can apply for ME and they don’t need to sit for any entrance exam.
- MBA applicants need to clear the CAT, MAT, SAT, which are some of the national examinations candidates have to clear for taking admission in MBA. Apart from MBA, at the postgraduate level, for other courses like M.A., M.SC, M.COM, MCA, LLM programmes, candidates are finalized based on their academic marks in bachelors degree along with the merit score in an entrance Test.
- All the candidates willing to take admission in PhD and MPhil programmes need to clear the Master’s degree course with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. After submitting the application form, the students are invited to submit their GATE/NET certificate and an entrance test conducted by the university.
