Chandigarh University is a well-reputed private university which provides its students with several courses at a different level study. Candidates, seeking admission to the U.G. courses like B.A., B.SC, B.COM, are selected based on their 10+2 examination marks. An entrance test called CUSAT is taken by the university for the undergraduate courses. The students are judged upon their H.S.C. exams alongside the scored marks in the entrance test.

The cut off marks of the entrance exam can vary for a few reasons for instances the total number of candidates appeared for the exam, difficulty level of the question, previous year cutoff etc.
